Georgia Professional Counseling Center, Inc.
Court Ordered Drug and Alcohol Evaluations and Anger Evaluations
Please call 404-915-7106 to schedule an evaluation appointment
The Georgia Professional Counseling Center, Inc. specializes in court ordered evaluation services. We offer both drug and alcohol evaluations and anger evaluations. A court ordered drug and alcohol evaluation may also be referred to as: substance abuse assessment, substance abuse evaluation, drug and alcohol assessment, alcohol evaluation, alcohol assessment, clinical evaluation, drug and alcohol dependency evaluation, or addiction evaluation. A court ordered anger evaluation may also be referred to as: anger assessment, clinical anger evaluation, clinical anger assessment, anger management evaluation, or anger management assessment. If an individual has been charged with DUI, reckless driving, minor in possession of alcohol, drug possession, or any other drug or alcohol related charge, then they may be ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. If an individual has been charged with domestic violence, simple battery, or assault, then they may be ordered to undergo an anger evaluation.

We provide court ordered evaluation services for both adolescents and adults. Our evaluations include a 1 1/2 hour interview process which involves gathering information about family history, educational and employment history, emotional history, substance abuse history, and administering clinical questionnaires such as the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI), the Michigan Alcohol Screening Test (MAST), and for anger evaluations the Novaco Anger Scale and Provocation Inventory (NAS-PI). Information gathered in this 1 1/2 hour interview is used to produce a written assessment report which includes a summary and treatment recommendations* (if any). Our assessment reports are generally 7 to 10 pages in length and if desired we can send copies of the assessment report directly to your attorney or probation officer (you will be required to sign a consent to release information form).
